So, following a fabulous exhibition, the very namesake of this article, I felt it necessary to share of this subject, mainly exploring, what is really out there? But as the title suggests, its more of what is really out there, inside our thoughts. How complex is thought. Like an ever changing wind of cosmic messages and electrons and colors swishing together in a sea of motion and complexity.
Something so deep, so spiritual and yet so vast, beyond our grasp where they come from and how they are influenced. The idea of thought.
With the mind, a control tower, picking up signals from a multitude of varying parallel universes, a radar system of quantum realities, a varying multiplex system of signals and messages from ones consciousness and metaphysical environment. A thought; what happens after.
There is a saying; ''Thought is action in rehearsal''. Because really, where one finds himself after thought, is action and if not then he finds himself just a dreamer, an escapist, a thinker without a vessel to pour his spirit, a painter without a brush nor a canvas; An alcoholic depressed victim of neurosis and frustrated melancholy.
I guess Buddha was right. ''What we think, we become''. But then we have countless self-help books expanding on the subject, like a Jehovah Witness at your door on a random mid Autumn Tuesday 11:35am...
It doesn't stop.
But the truth of the matter is, when you wake up in a dark and lonely place, no Starbucks sugar free vanilla latte can take it away as can happy thoughts and the smile the cleaner on her way to work on a gray cold morning gives us, without agenda nor conditions. Just a smile.
Science even says, if you fake smiling till you make it, you will actually feel happier in your body and in your heart.
Interestingly, scientific research also says that if the body is built of 80% water and that water can become molecularly positive or negative depending on whether you surround it with darkness of words or embrace it with love, so to, one would imagine how the waters in our body responds to our daily judgmental self-destructive thoughts, and therefore we become the product of our thoughts, both physically and mentally and for sure emotionally.
Well, if that's true it would explain a lot of broken minds and bodies moping about the planet endlessly unfulfilled and searching for a way out of a self sabotaging self induced black hole of pain.
How great this world, for giving us the opportunity to enter into this playground of life.
This windy yet straight, multi-colored yet black and white, painful yet joyful, alone yet in company, playground of process and karma, choice in each and most of all the free will to create our lives the way we want it to be and especially in the times we least think it to be so.
If ancient Kabbalistic sages would say for thousands of years that consciousness creates our reality, and mystical astrologers would say that our planets constantly move and change around our consciousness, then we really are moving galaxies and worlds with our minds. How perplexing a thought, and what a Voyage into the unknown this could mean for us, as we one day step into a Galaxy of seemingly perplexing, but positive healthy and happy minds.
